Medieval Times Junior Knights Training Class!
Hear Ye Hear Ye!
We had a Royal preview of the Medieval Times Junior Knights Training program and it was awesome! (not to mention THE perfect Spring Break activity – the next one is Monday, April 14th at 2:30pm).
It’s so much fun to be a Knight at Medieval Times, why not try it for yourself! Don’t worry, the swords are wood.
In this unique pre-show program, kids aged 5-12 get to go down into the arena for an exclusive weapons demonstration and training by the Medieval Times Knights and Weapons Master.
The Knights teach sword fighting moves from the show and the King and Queen share the virtues of becoming a modern-day Knight.
Upon completion of the training the kids get Knighted and become Honorary Knights of the Realm (this was my favorite part – down on one knee and all!).
Space is limited and training is available on a first come first served basis. Training is open to both boys and girls. Closed toe shoes are required to participate.
After the completion of the training you enter the arena with all the other dinner show guests to get ready for the main event.
This 11th century show unfolds just like a medieval banquet with a falcon show, horse shows, Knight games, jousting, sword fights, and the best part – eating with your hands!
As you may know, Medieval Times is based on authentic Medieval history and is the true story of a Spanish noble family.
It was just as much fun as last year and a good time for all ages.
We had so much fun the first time we went, I’m so glad we went back for this program! Now I can say I have a Knight for a son!
