Nintendo Holiday Celebrations!
Nintendo is one of my favorite clients. Not only is the brand nostalgic for me (no Chanukah gift will ever beat my 1988 NES + Power Pad holiday bundle) but my kids love it too. They enjoy playing on their Nintendo Switches individually, and together, but REALLY LOVE successfully convincing me to play a round of Mario Kart with them. Basically, my partnership with Nintendo makes me a cool mom in their eyes – which is my ultimate goal as a digital marketing agency owner!
We recently visited the 2024 Nintendo holiday showcase and as always it was a beautiful, fun, gorgeously curated event.
New Nintendo Holiday Games
Holding center stage was the newly released Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom. In this game the Queen – Zelda herself – is finally the main character. Much like their release earlier this year of Princess Peach Showtime Nintendo is really leaning into girl power right now, and I love it! We also got to dance our way though Just Dance 2025 which is always a fun time.
Nintendo Holiday Bundles
This year Nintendo’s Holiday bundle includes a great package. The Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Oled include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + 12 (!) months of their individual online membership! This online membership is key. It not only connects your Switch to another one (so you can play with a friend) but opens the extensive Nintendo game library to your fingertips.
Nintendo Food Partnerships
Nintendo holiday events always blow us away with their intricate attention to detail. We love how the food always seamlessly flows into the theme. This year my boys were on cloud 9. Nintendo has partnered with Kraft for Mario and Luigi themed boxed and instant macaroni and cheese! Then for dessert we got to sample Nintendo Oreos and Chips Ahoy from Nabisco and Teddy Grahams.
Nintendo Holiday Accoutrements
Of course, no Nintendo event is complete without their special little touches and attention to detail. Each area had nods to the game themes including Princess Peach slides, LEGO sets galore, and character board games.
On top of all of that awesomeness, I got to see my favorite PR team of all PR teams who made sure the night was perfect as always.
Thank you so much for having us! Now if you need me, I’ll be kicking some butt playing my new Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition on our Nintendo Switch. Yes that’s right 1988 Stacey is coming out for the OG Super Mario Bros and boy, is she fierce!
Also… Nintendo – please let me know the second Mario and Luigi Brothership comes out on November 7th so these brothers can stop asking ME!!
