The Good Housekeeping Seal!
What a cool way to spend a gorgeous Fall Day! What could be better than the Hearst Tower overlooking Central Park with Al Roker, the company’s top brass, fellow content creators, and some of my favorite bloggers!
I learned that “The Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval” is so much a part of our vernacular that we often forget there’s actually a GOOD HOUSEKEEPING Magazine and they IN FACT test and confirm thousands of products each year giving only the best of the best their literal seal of approval!
Even cooler – after a beautiful lunch filled with “approved” treats and famous recipes, we got to tour their 18k square foot lab to see the vigorous process for ourselves and meet some of their favorite brands!
So What Does The Good Housekeeping “Seal” Mean?
- Products apply and go through a rigorous vetting process inspecting everything from its ingredients to it’s marketing material
- Good Housekeeping’s scientists, product analysts, and army of 100k home testers confirm the product does what it claims to do
- If everything passes with flying colors then a seal is issued along with a warranty that GH and Hearst stands behind offering a refund if the item fails to live up their standards
Who knew!? That’s really amazing!
Today, the GH seal is more relevant than ever because our shelves are flooded with products and we need help navigating to the best ones.
