Our Town On Broadway
Thorton Wilder’s Our Town has been my favorite play for decades. I love its message and even more – I loved playing 1/3 of the Stage Manager as a senior in High School in 1996.
In fact, I always refer to the play and think of it when I’m stressed out to calm me down.
I Always Think Of Emily In Act Three
The concept that Emily visits one simple day and sees how beautiful and horrible it is at the same time is what I try to focus on when my kids are going bizerk and I need a breather.
It’s also what I think about when we’re all cuddling on the couch in the perfect snuggle.
Life moves fast. Every moment is both perfect and… not.
I really enjoyed this new rendition of the show. It was even more exciting to see @ourtownbroadway performed by an all star cast!
I’m not usually a “wait at the stage door” kind of gal but I couldn’t resist this one. I’m glad I did. I had the nicest chat with Bill Timoney (Constable Warren) who couldn’t have been more generous with his time.
