Fall Means Pumpkin Blaze Long Island!
We love welcoming the fall by visiting one of our favorite family traditions Pumpkin Blaze aka The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze a production of Historic Hudson Valley at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration.
Besides being the perfect activity for a beautiful Long Island night, it’s a good deed too! Your ticket sales help support both non-profits!
Some fan favorite pumpkin walk highlights include:
-Long Island history and heroes made out of pumpkins
-Native Long Islanders also made out of pumpkins (new this year Natalie Portman and Jerry Seinfeld)
-An illuminated pumpkin portal and a twinkling color changing pumpkin tunnel
-Spooooky Halloween music
-A lit up pumpkin sunflower field
-A bubble blowing pumpkin octopus
-Iridescent pumpkin jellyfish
-7,000+ carved pumpkins
-Live nightly pumpkin carving (they take requests!)
-Rows of carved Jack O’Lanterns
-A giant glowing spider web
-Lots of fun photo ops
We also loved the new additions this year including the Day of the Dead installation and pumpkin Ferris wheel.
