Water For Elephants on Broadway!
Sara Gruen’s 2006 critically acclaimed bestselling novel Water for Elephants was one of my all time favorite books.
When I heard it was coming to Broadway I couldn’t wait to see it!
I remembered the incredible story and couldn’t wait to see it unfold on the stage.
I was simply blown away.
Run Don’t Walk To See Water For Elephants On Broadway!
Water For Elephants was one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. Every part of it from curtain up to curtain down was perfection.
Besides a rich and interesting plot line on the Broadway side, the circus performers were as good as you’d see in any circus performance out there.
Actually, many of them are classically trained in circus arts as well as theater arts!
Not only was the show amazing but the audience collaboratively “oooh-ed” and “ahh-ed” as the incredible performers stole our gasps with their gravity defying stunts.
This show was not only a love story but a dazzling bowl of eye candy from every angle.
Front Mezzanine For The Win!
Speaking of angles, we loved sitting in the front mezzanine which provided us the perfect birds eye view of everything going on. And let me tell you – there was a LOT going on!
Whether you read the book or saw the movie (or neither of the above) you must flip, twist, and jump on over as fast as you can.
I am still beaming from this show. I want to see it again!
